ABOUT OUR COMPANY

Valley Products Company was founded by Charles and Evelyn Breazeale in 1943. Originally a producer of bulk soaps for government and industrial customers, Valley established a fatty acid manufacturing division in the 1960s, and a bar soap manufacturing division in the 1970s. The bar soap division became known as Valley Soap.

In 2001 Breazeale family members formed VML Company in order to purchase the Global Household Brands manufacturing plant in Memphis; the plant was formerly owned by Block Drug Company, and manufactures household products.

In 2005 we combined our two consumer products manufacturing businesses, when VML Company acquired the Valley Soap bar soap division assets of Valley Products Company. At that time VML began doing business as Valley Consumer Products Group. Valley Products Company retained the industrial products and fatty acids businesses.

Today Valley Consumer Products Group manufactures bar soaps, liquid personal care products, household cleaning products, and toilet bowl tablets for a wide range of customers in two plants in Memphis. In addition, we offer nationwide logistics services for customers through distribution centers in Memphis, New Jersey and California.
